The herbs we work with

Named, with what they are traditionally used for and nothing added on top.

Manjistha मंजिष्ठा

Rubia cordifolia. A root the classical texts place among the herbs used for the skin, taken by mouth and applied as a paste. It is one of the most common names in Ayurvedic skin formulations, which is why it is here.

Haldi हल्दी

Turmeric, the base of the ubtan paste made in Indian homes for generations. Worth one caution: applied raw it does not suit every skin, so try a little on the inner arm first and wait a day.

Neem नीम

Azadirachta indica. The leaf has been used on the skin in this tradition for as long as there are records, in pastes, in bath water and in oils. That long use is why it is here.

Kumari घृतकुमारी

Aloe vera. The gel of the leaf, used in the tradition as a cooling application for the skin. Some people react to it, so the same inner arm test applies.

No, and we do not offer that. Skin colour is not a problem to fix. What we talk about is dullness, marks and unevenness, and what the tradition does for skin that feels tired.

We will not give you a number of weeks. Skin renews slowly and differently in every person, and anybody promising a date is guessing. On the call we tell you plainly what is realistic for what you describe.

Try anything new on a small patch of the inner arm first and wait a day. If it stings, reddens or itches, wash it off, stop, and tell us. Natural does not mean it suits everybody.

Tell us every medicine you take and every condition you are being treated for, and never stop anything your doctor prescribed. Some herbs do not mix with some medicines, and we would rather ask than guess.

Acne that is painful, deep or leaving scars, a mark or mole that changes shape, colour or size, or a rash that spreads or will not settle. Those are for a doctor first, and we will say so on the call.

No, and we will not publish them. A photograph proves very little about what anybody else can expect, and it is exactly what the law on advertising remedies is there to stop.
